A couple of years ago, a mother orca carried her dead baby for seventeen days to alert the world that they are dying. The calf’s lifeless body was carried on her mother’s nose through the Salish Sea, travelling more than 1,000 miles before her grieving mother let it go.This impacted me deeply to see this display of sadness and cry for help.
Orcas remain with the matriarchal lines - great grandmothers, grandmothers, mothers, daughters, calves - 5 generations traveling together, supporting each other, learning from each other, growing together. Oracles and Mystics believe the Whale and Orca Elders are benevolent cosmic beings here to anchor a frequency of love onto the planet. To harmonize it with their song. As they weave around the oceans they do so much more than any of us know. Their physical presence affects Earth’s magnetic field and their harmonics call us to wake up and remember our own soul’s song.
